The recruitment of primary teachers is going to be held after Puja 2022. The same has been indicated by the New Primary Education Board President Gautom Pal. Two days ago, WBBPE asked to DPSC of the detailed account of the primary TET examination centers was sent from all the districts.

WBBPE Primary TET 2022 Vacancy

According to various newspapers said that the new primary vacancy would be around 25,000. But our source said from this year the WBBPE has going to conduct the TET exam in CTET format. So if a candidate is appearing and pass in TET exam they will provide a TET Certificate which will be lifetime validity. When the education department and WBBPE announce a vacancy they have to be applied for that vacancy. After that Interview is conducted according to merit.

The state government is mired in recruitment controversy. The court has ordered a series of investigations. In this situation, new recruitment can improve the overall situation. The Board of Primary Education is in trouble to start the preparation for taking the new test for the recruitment of primary teachers. Candidates who were successful and trained in the 2014 and 2017 TETs who are yet to be appointed are virtually on the phone by Primary Board President Gautam Pal.

It is alleged that he was also threatened over the phone that if the board issues the TET notification again without appointing them first, the results will be reversed.

Almost 43,000 teachers were recruited in the first phase of the 2014 primary TET passers. And those who did not get the job in the first round of interviews, later, according to the November 2020 notification,by WBBPE, they got the opportunity to be appointed to 16,500 posts. Even then, some of the candidates who are TET Pass and Trained did not get the job are Protesting in Dharmatala.

Again, 2.5 lakh trained candidates filled the form following the October 2017 TET notification. That TET was taken on January 31st last year. The results published in 10th January this year show that 9,896 Candidates have been successful. They have yet to sit for any interview. And their recruitment is still pending.

Board President always said that Primary TET and Recruitment are two different issue.There is no direct relation TET with Recruitment.The school education department claims that the Supreme Court has ordered to take TET every year. Certificates are awarded to those who succeed in TET. So that they get a chance to sit for the interview when the recruitment notification comes out in the future.

WBBPE President,Gautam Pal said that since Saturday morning, he received calls one after another on his personal mobile phone. It is said that the new TET can be taken only after completing the recruitment to the primary teacher post from the previous examination.

The board president said, ‘ There is no direct relation TET exam and recruitment. And we have just started preparing for TET. The matter of appointment will be finalized by talking to the Minister of Education and the heads of the School Education Department.
